Will B&W Continuum Fit A-Frame Tongue With Straight Bar Down The Middle?
Updated 01/08/2025 | Published 01/01/2025 >
Question:
I’m looking at part BW28FR. My car hauler has a tongue that has the V like a normal one but it has a bar that is in the middle too. My question is will the part number work for my tongue

Hello Gary, thanks for reaching out. The B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System # BW28FR does fit an A-frame tongue, but if your tongue has a straight bar down the middle that would be an obstruction for the WD system so it will not work.
A better option for a WD hitch will be a more standard system like a Blue Ox. If you can let me know the GVWR or loaded tongue weight of your camper I am happy to look into it an recommend the correct system. Just let me know in the comments below and I will get back to you.

It’s an enclosed car hauler that is 28 ft long, GVWR is 9990 and I haul a 3100 pound Honda civic in the hauler. As far as the tongue weight I’m not sure but maybe 1000 to 1500 pounds . I have air bags and onboard compressor on the truck also. I like the blue ox weight and sway control so what do you suggest
