Is B&W Digital Tongue Weight Scale Compatible With 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailers

Im wondering if the BandW Digital Tongue weight scale will work with goose necks, fifth-wheels as well as bumper pulls?

Hi Norm; the B&W Digital Tongue Weight Scale # BW34KR is designed for bumper pull trailers only. The coupler will fit onto the scale to measure tongue weight. There is no way to safely hook up a 5th wheel or gooseneck to the scale and measure. The best way to measure pin weight on these trailers is to use a commercial scale.

@RobinH I never bought one. It would be no use to me. All the trailers I own that I would be concerned about weight are either fifth wheel or goose neck. The only bumper pull trailers I own are my boat and sea doo trailers that are far from exceeding my weight limits.
