Extensive Testing

InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the hitch lock in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 32,000 lbs.

The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your B&W Continuum weight distribution system to your 2" or 2-1/2" hitch. The other 2 locks replace the pins that secure the weight distribution head to the shank.
