Does Tekonsha Voyager Come With Wiring Harness for 2007 Silverado

I’m looking for a trailer brake controller for my 07 Silverado New Body style. Truck came with the factory tow package. I see that the TK29ER fits my truck. Does the kit come with the wiring harness needed?

Hi Jeremy; the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # TK29ER does include a wiring harness. However, it is the universal wiring harness so you will have to splice it in for installation. There are no custom wiring harnesses for the 2007 Silverado like yours.
Our tech note says "No plug is present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash." I went ahead and attached an installation video for the P2 # 90885 you can follow along with below. The steps will be the same for the Voyager.

Good deal. I found the wires needed in my truck. I’ll order if I get my other order that was suppose to be here yesterday. The package almost made it to. Marysville, Indiana but for some reason it shows it went back to Missouri.
