Will this lock fit this style of coupler shown below? If not, do you have recommendation beside the 1/4inch pin style locks that replace the hitch pin? etrailer Surge Brake Coupler Lock - 3-3/8inch Span - 1/4inch Diameter - Chrome Part Number: e98888

Hi David,

The etrailer Surge Brake Coupler Lock # e98888 can fit coupler latches with a 1/4" diameter or larger hole. This would be to just lock the latch in place so that it can't be opened to allow a ball to couple.

The TowSmart ProClass Heavy-Duty Coupler Lock # TS94VR you were looking at is designed to fit inside the coupler where the ball would and clamp down on the top of the coupler. It's compatible with 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" Couplers.

What style lock are you wanting so I can make a recommendation?
