You certainly can use the Trimax Coupler lock # TMX47FR with the Demco 2-5/16" Ez latch coupler like the # DM14040-81. The Demco coupler is 2-7/8" wide on the outside so it will undoubtedly fit with the Trimax lock, which is more or less universal. That being said, if you need a lock for the Demco EZ latch, I recommend the InfiniteRule Lock # IR66FR which is made specifically for the 2-5/16" Demco EZ Latch couplers so it will be a perfect fit.
