Hi etrailer, can you recommend a hitch and wiring for our 2025 Chevy Traverse? We want to get it set up for towing and appreciate your help with this.

Hi Kim; I can definitely help you get your 2025 Chevy Traverse ready to tow a trailer. You will need the hitch, wiring, and a ball mount. I recommend the following for a complete setup:
-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C97RV
-Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C66RV
OR
-Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C76RV
-etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball # e67DR
You will need to choose between the 4-way and 7-way wiring harness. If you think you will be towing a trailer with a 7-way/brakes at some point I would go that route now so you have it. You can use a simple adapter like the # PK12716 whenever you tow a trailer with a 4-way.
