Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located above the muffler on the driver's side. You may need to lower the muffler to access the wiring harness. After plugging in the connector, route the 7-way end of the harness along the inside of your bumper toward the center of your vehicle.
Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness with seven way trailer connector. Now, this has been designed to fit your 2024 and newer Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia and on custom fit parts such as this harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now this custom T-connector is going to plug into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located above the muffler on the driver's side.
You may need to lower the muffler to access the wiring harness, but after plugging in the connector, you're going to route the seven way end of the harness along the inside of your bumper towards the center of your vehicle, and then you'll plug it into the back of this connector here. I just kind of have it loosely plugged in here as you can see. So this is gonna be a very easy installation. Once installation is complete, the seven way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle near the trailer hitch receiver. A mounting bracket is recommended to keep the connector secure.
You can find those bracketing options here at etrailer.com. As you can see, you're gonna have a spring loaded cover here to protect those connections on the inside when this is not in use. And you are going to get some cable ties and some fuses and instructions. And it is also recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease on all of your electrical components, such as the plug that you're using to plug into your vehicle and even the connection points on the seven way itself. Now this grease is gonna help prevent corrosion.
So on your screen, I am including the model number for that grease. You can just take that number and pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to that grease and you can add that to your order. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thanks for joining me.
