John, the best lock for the Dexter Zinc-Plated, A-60 Coupler # T4845000 is going to be the AMPLock Trailer Coupler Lock for Square, 2" Ball Couplers # AMP84FR. This lock is made from heavy- duty ductile cast iron construction that resists picking, cutting, drilling, and freezing, and uses laser cut style keys.

I see that lock will lock trailer coupler when disconnected from a vehicle; but how do I lock coupler on vehicle ball so it cannot be disconnected from the vehicle in a parking lot?
