What Size Fuse Is Required For The Roadmaster Even Brake ICX Transmitter

Question:

Is the online fuse 2amp? Why i ask is the transmitter has interfered with my 2024 Jeep Gladiator. It interfered with the key fobs lock unlock. The diagnostics discovered this cause and took out the inline fuse. I think it was 2 amp. Is that correct?

Hey Mark,

The Replacement Transmitter for Roadmaster Even Brake Systems - Serial Numbers Above 27,496 # RM77FR uses a 10 amp fuse. I'm guessing that the installer tied into the fuse that powers the sensor for the key fobs. You can look for a different ignition-tied fuse to avoid this issue going further.

No, the wire was direct to the battery
