Question:
I have a Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 e-bikes that each weigh about 73 lbs. I assume the 250 lb capacity takes into account the weight of the rack plus the weight of the e-bikes, correct? I just want to ensure the Yakima can safely support my rack and e-bikes before I make the purchase.

Hey Laurie,
Always smart to double check before a purchase, and I can verify that yes, the 250 lb weight capacity of the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y02483 is referring to both the bike rack and loaded bikes.
So with the 54 lb weight of your Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HLY84FR loaded with a couple 73 lb bikes you're right at 200 lbs, which can definitely be handled by the BackSwing # Y02483.

Hey Laurie, how did things go with the Yakima BackSwing and your Sport Rider rack once you had everything loaded up? It sounds like the weight should be well within the limit. Sharing how it performed could help others looking at the same setup.
