Question:

Hi, I believe I have a Thule Roadway bike hitch rack that I am in need of a couple replacement straps. I went on your site and it looks like I have the T3 cradle but mine appears to have two pieces instead of one. Because of the two piece configuration, the strap on mine looks slightly different then the one offered on the site 853-5829. Can you tell me if this strap is compatible with the cradle on my rack and if not, which one do I need? Im including a picture of my cradle for you convenience. Also, Im in need of an end cap which I will order at the same time. Can you tell me if this comes with the setting screw? Thanks for your help, Shane

You definitely have T3 cradles on your Thule bike rack, the correct replacement strap would be the Replacement Rubber Strap for Thule T3 Bike Carrier Cradles # 753-3535. I confirmed this with my rep at Thule.

The replacement end cap that you would need would be the Replacement Tube Cap # 853-1477-04. This does not come with the set screw, but it will be available on our site very soon. It's part number will be # 853-5753.
