How does the Blue Ox Patriot brake get its power if instructions on my 2010 Jeep unlimited Sahara say to disconnect battery?

Hey Doug that's a great question! To power the Blue Ox Patriot item # BLU37TR you'll need to install the Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit item # RM-9332. Since your battery will be disconnected this outlet kit will be ran directly to your Jeep's battery.
You will also want to install the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25. This will keep your Jeep's battery charged through power from your motorhome's 7-way.
