Hi Michael,

Yes, the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel King Pin # UF35-946219 can be used with a Demco Autoslide hitch like the # DM6077, you'll just need to swap out the capture plates on the hitch with part # DM6171 to fit the Trailair pin box. I do recommend checking your trailer's bolt pattern first though before purchasing the # UF35-946219 as each trailer has a specific bolt pattern that fits it. If you don't know yours then look for a white sticker that lists the RPO, serial, and LCI item number on it and I can look up the bolt pattern.

thank you... i was able to purchase and install the capture plates on the hitch. Now i'm in the market for the air ride pin box. i found out from the manufacturer that i have a rhino 21k pin box. What would be the best option for a replacement air ride pin box? i will be pulling it with the Demco auto slider hitch 21k

@MichaelM Hello Michael! I know that you said "air ride," but the Gen-Y Executive # GY86GR is one of the best upgrades available if you're replacing your Lippert Rhino 21K pin box and want to improve ride quality. It’s a direct bolt-on replacement, so no adapters or modifications are needed, and it’s fully compatible with the Demco Autoslider hitch when paired with the correct capture plate # GY98FR. Can you please comment below the GVWR of your 5th wheel so I can confirm that is the correct Gen-Y as there is a formula to follow to choose the correct one. What makes the Gen-Y stand out is its torsion-flex technology, which uses internal rubber cords to absorb shock in all directions, not just up and down, but also front-to-back and side-to-side. That translates to a dramatically smoother towing experience, reducing chucking, vibration, and fatigue on both your trailer and tow vehicle. It also helps protect your cargo and suspension components over long hauls. If you wanted to stick to one that has an airbag in it, I would go with the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert Rhino - 21,000 lbs # LC65VR. But I think that you will be happier with the Gen-Y, plus you don't have to worry about the bag ever failing. Please let me know your thoughts, and the GVWR of your 5th wheel =)
