Can Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box for Lippert 1621 Be Used With Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

I have a forest river vengeance with a Lippert 1621hd pin box. I tow.with a.short bed super duty and was wondering if you can run the trailair flex air pin box on a slider hitch.

You can absolutely use a sliding hitch with the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC369535 to replace your Lippert 1621 pin box.

This will work wonderfully with a sliding 5th wheel hitch to give you the most comfortable towing experience possible. The combination of the rubber compound on the front of the pin box and air bag inside it will absorb the shock that is so common when towing with 5th wheels so you get a far more relaxed ride than with a standard pin box.
