Question:

Hi team, I cant seem to align the bolt holes on my new Trailair Air Ride 21k - see photos. Am I able to drill out the holes so that they align in either the mounting bracket ion the 5th Wheel or on the kingpin - or a bit of both? I dont see any other way.

My recommendation to replace a RhinoBox is to use the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, # LC65VR. This is designed to replace a Lippert Rhino Box 21K Pin Box. (Curt, and TrailAir are both owned by Lippert, this is the same product as a Lippert TrailAir but branded Curt.)

You linked to the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box, # LC158778. Which is not designed to be a replacement for the Rhino Box Pin Box but for a Lippert 1621 or 1621HD. Any modifications that you make to this product for fitment is at the risk of the installer. I advise against drilling out existing holes to an oblong shape for fitment and suggest you install the Curt Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, # LC65VR.
