Is Fascia Trimming Needed to Install Curt Trailer Hitch on 2025 Toyota Camry

Was wondering if you could tell me if there is any type of bumper or fascia trimming to install the Curt hitch on my 2025 Toyota Camry? Its not a big deal if there is Im just trying to prepare for the install process. Thanks!

Hey Alan,
There is a little bit of trimming needed, but not on the bumper or anything visual on your 2025 Toyota Camry when you install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C94RV.
I've added a couple of photos below which show the trimming needed, and the first is the underbody panel, which needs a 1-1/2" deep section trimmed for most of it, except for the 3-1/4" wide section in the middle. The heat shield also needs a 4-1/2" x 3" section trimmed during the install.
The heat shield needs to be trimmed so the # C94RV can bolt onto the frame rail (which will not cause any issues as the hitch essentially replaces the shield in that area), while the panel needs to be trimmed so the receiver is able to protrude.
