Hey Kevin, great question!
You definitely can invert the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball # e87DR so it's in a rise configuration, but you will need to remove and re-install the hitch ball so it's in the correct orientation.
If you'd rather not have to torque the hitch ball then I recommend checking out an adjustable hitch system like the Flint Hill Goods Adj Tri-Ball Mount # FHG92VR which gives you the ability to use the ball mount in the drop or rise configuration by removing and reinstalling some pins instead of going through the effort of reinstalling a hitch ball.

Hey Kevin, how did things go with inverting the ball mount for a rise setup? Did the re-install on the hitch ball work out smoothly, or did you end up trying the adjustable tri-ball mount instead? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same question.
