How to Pick Out Ball Mount for a 2024 Lexus GX550

Question:

My 2024 Aliner LXE owners manual states that the ball should be 14 from ground to bottom of ball and 17 from ground to top of the ball. My 2024 Lexus GX 550 trailer hitch is 21.25 from the ground to upper inside of the hitch. How much of a /rise should the hitch be? Which Curt model should I buy?

Sandra, when you go to actually tow your 2024 Aline LXE you'll need to measure the rise and drop needed for the correct ball mount.

The hitch itself is not going to play a factor, so you could use whatever your Lexus already has. What you'll need to do is check out the FAQ I've attached which goes over how to measure the rise and drop and pick out a ball mount that meets what you need. Or, you can let me know what rise/drop you need and I can find a couple for you.
