Review of Quick Fist Tie Down Straps QF10010

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Quick Fist Original Clamps. Now, this product is great for mounting and securing tools and equipment. This works great on trailers, emergency vehicles, work trucks, off-road vehicles, military vehicles, ATVs, UTVs and boats. It's a quick and easy installation. This would also be great for your garage. It mounts with one number 10 bolt or screw, which is not included, so that is sold separately.

It does come with this little spacer. It's more like a protector. What that does is, that goes right there, over the mount hole and creates a surface between your mounting hardware and the rubber material of the clamp. Now, the clamp itself is made from a heavy-duty transportation grade rubber. It's very strong and durable, unaffected by climate, and UV resistant. This product is made in the USA.

It holds objects one inch to two and one-quarter inch in diameter. Each clamp can support a safe working load of 25 pounds. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. I want to take a look at the overall depth measurement. That's how far it sticks out from your installation surface.

I'm measuring from the back portion, here, to this tip, right here. That gives a measurement of about two and a half inches. Now, the mounting area, which is this back piece, here, side to side measures seven-eighths of an inch, top to bottom is about two and three-quarters inches. With this part number you get two clamps. Just keep in mind that Quick Fist Clamps are not to be used on exhaust pipes, or any pipe, that consistently exceeds a temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It's really easy to operate.

You simply open the clamp, place whatever you need to in here. You can open that up, if you need a little bit more working room. Then, once you have your object in, you take the pull tab, here, and you pull it as tight as you can on one of the hold downs. Then once it's secure, it will hold in place, and it will hold your object inside the clamp. That's going to do it for today's look at the Quick Fist Original Clamps.
