Question:
I have 2021 Forest River Wildwood that has a EJ-3520 trailer lift. The switch will let it retract but not extend. Would this be in the switch or something else?

Hey Howard,
It is possible that the switch is to blame so I would remove the top head cover to take a closer look inside the jack # EJ-3520-BBX. You might just have a loose spade terminal on the back of the switch that needs to be pushed on more.
I took one of these jacks apart to get a better look at how it was wired and found that the top right terminal and bottom left terminal on the back of the switch # EJ-3520-PSW are for your extend and retract. I would check to make sure those have power when pressing the switch. If power is running to the extend terminal and it still won't lift the switch is the issue.
Are you able to manually extend the jack? If so then we know it's not a gear issue and would fall back on the switch being the issue.

Kevin, Thanks for your reply. I have removed the cover and checked the wiring and all seams good. The jack does manually extend and retract so it’s not a problem with the gears. I’ll try checking the power to the switch next and see what happens. Looks like it’s pointing to the switch though. Thanks again for your help!! Howard
