Recommended Bike Rack for 2025 Hyundai Tucson for Bike Rack

Just got a 2025 Hyundai Tucson and I need a tow hitch that can carry two bicycles. I plan to get a J Bar bike rack that would attach to the tow hitch with a hitch pin and cotter key. Wouldn’t be carrying anything over 100-150 pounds. Is that a Class 1 hitch that I need? Thanks for your recommendation.

Hello Neil; Class III hitches are the only option available for your 2025 Hyundai Tucson. Regardless, I would still recommend a Class III since it gives you the most options for bike racks. It also means you have a higher capacity and greater capability if you want to carry a heavier rack/bikes later on or do some towing. The etrailer # e38KR is the best choice and can handle any 2-bike rack out there.
If you haven't decided on a bike rack yet, check out the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR. Assuming you meant 100-150 lbs between your two bikes you're going to need a high capacity and this has you covered. It is designed for e-bikes so the capacity is 80 lbs per bike. If you don't need it to be able to handle that much weight the # HR1450Z is another good option that will save you a little money and has a capacity of 50 lbs per bike.
