Question:
What gauge wire is recommended for Maxx Fan Dome Plus 6inch vent fan? If I want to just connect it to a solar generator with a 12 volt connector and maybe eventually a whole 12 volt system with fuses. Thanks, Jannene

Hello Jannene, thanks for getting in touch. When installing the MaxxFan Dome Plus Roof Vent # MA00-03810B, a 16 gauge wire is acceptable. If you are using a longer run of wire like 25' or more you will want to bump that up to 14 gauge or 12 gauge. In most cases vent wires don't need to be too long so 16 should do fine for your application.
