Fits just right and is very good quality.

by:

Got the hitch very quickly. Fits perfect on the bumper.
Thank you

by:

Product was price good and delivery was excellent. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.

by:

Very easy to install, took less than 30 minutes. I wasn't sure of the grade of bolts that were included, so I upgraded to Grade 8 bolts. I'm very pleased with hitch and have already put it to the test.

by:

The finish is great, I was going to weld this to the front of my tractor, but know I am going to weld mountig brackets to the tractor so I can bolt it on and not mess up the powder coating.

by:

The bumper hitch was exactly what I needed. It is perfect for attaching a wheelchair carrier to the step bumper of my Silverado pick-up. After I placed my order I recieved a confirming e-mail of the order. I recieved an e-mail the next day informing me that my order had shipped along with the tracking number. I recieved my order a few days later and installed it on my bumper in barely 5 minutes! I will definitely use E-Trailer for all future trailer hitch needs.

This hitch should fit your 2002 Silverado with a step bumper, and yes you will need to drill for the installation.

by:

Solid, quality product. The bolt threads were a bit "short" so I had to buy some big washers to make up the distance and allow the nuts to fully tighten. Also, I looked up the torque specs on those grade 8 bolts to get the proper torque rather than what the instructions said: "Make sure to tighten them really tight". Overall pleased.

by:

Doesn’t really fit, even though your site said it would. Had to order custom spacer plate and will have to drill it out to fit. This is not a simple bolt on item. Tried to return it but when I called I was told too late.

by:

Product was easy to locate, webset easy to use. Hitch installed easily, Did require slight mount adjustment by drilling. The product description did give adequate forewarning of mounting adjustment. Spacers included were great. Would recommend “ETRAILER”!

All is well

by:

Very prompt delivery! Product is just as described. I will try / do the install tomorrow and follow up at that time. I do not expect any issues, but you never know till its complete. This is hopeful is going to lower the hitch height to enable the level towing of a vintage trailer.

Works grate! Did just what I needed.

by:

For the price this is well worth it. The staff was very fast to respond to any questions i had. I am only using this for a bike rack and it worked perfectly. If you have to drill all holes in your bumper, make sure you are using a drill with a cord. The batteries will not last. I would def buy another product from this firm. This was a great quality product.

After a brutal winter the product is still holding up great.

THE HITCH WILL BE ATTACHED TO OUR 550 FORD 4WD EMERGENCY TRUCK ( VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT ) I WILL NEED TO DRILL 2 ADDITIONAL HOLES IN THE STEP BUMPER. I LIKED THE ENDS THAT YOU ATTACH THE SAFETY CHAINS. THE TRUCK WILL PULL OUR TRAILER WITH OUR TERREX ATV
HAVING THE CORRECT HARDWARE IN THE BOX IS GREAT

by:

Super fast shipping and service. This unit fit my aftermarket step bumper just fine. I only had to drill two holes for the included 1/2 inch bolts. The 3/4 inch bolts lined up perfectly. I wish all things were this simple.

Hitch is great. No signs of rust on the finish or bolts.

by:

The shipping was quicker than I expected. However, the bumper hitch didn't work well with my 1993 Nissan pickup with its step bumper. My bumper is too light and the mounting surface of the E-3S hitch is bowed, so it tended to try to pull my bumper apart in tightening. If you have a heavy bumper plate to bolt the hitch to, it should work great.

by:

Nice heavy hitch, installed easy and worked great.
Would recommend it to anyone looking for a light trailer bumper hitch.

by:

I'm building my own trailer hitch for my classic 1955 F350. I like this receiver because it'll provide a large, flat base to weld to the 2x4 heavy steel tube.

by:

The hitch is perfect for hauling anything we toss in the trailer from hay to wood to dwelling clean-outs, it has earned its value.

by:

SUPER PRODUCT,FAST SHIPPING,WORKS GREAT,EASY TO INSTALL, WILL BUY FROM AGAIN!!!!!

by:

Like my other orders from etrailer I received exactly what was ordered packaged correctly and on time. Thank you etrailer

by:

Information on website made choosing the right product easy. Quick shipping and notification in a great product

by:

The hitch is going on a one off build and is exactly what I needed. WELL MADE Only Mother natures delivery of 12" of snow delayed your delivery!

  • Will the Curt Receiver E-3S Fit my 1978 Chevrolet Truck?
Yes you will have the room that you need on the Curt 2" Trailer Hitch part # E-3S to move those the 3/8" closer in that the 8.75" center to center measurement. The one issue you may run into would be the powder coat. If you need to you can remove a little bit of the material with a drill or file to get that extra little bit of clearance you need.

  • Can Bumper Mount Hitch Work With 2018 Chevy Colorado LT Factory Step Bumper Hitch
As long as you have full access to the underside of the bumper mounting holes, through the step bumper, and they measure 8-3/4 inches center to center then you may be able to mount the Curt bumper mount hitch # E-3S without removing the step bumper. However, when speaking with my contact at Curt, they mentioned this type of hitch is meant for RV's. He also confirmed that in most cases, the factory bumpers would not fit this hitch. Hey Osvaldo. We haven't had a chance to install a hitch on a truck with a Royal utility bed but after looking at pics online I am pretty sure I have one that will work with your 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. We've had success installing the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C15313 on Silverado's with service bodies. To confirm this will be compatible with your set up I want you to take a measurement. • Recommended Hitch Solution for Carrying Bicycle on Rear of RV with C-Channel Bumper
The Curt # E-3S hitch you mentioned is recommended for use on a truck step bumper, as shown in the provided diagram. A bolt-on hitch like the Ultra-Fab # UF35-946401 would be a better choice. This hitch is designed to fit bumpers that are up to 4-1/2 by 4 inches. The bolt on receiver has a 200 lb capacity, but you'll need to check with the RV manufacturer to determine the capacity of the bumper. You'll need to abide by whichever capacity is lowest. I'd also recommend using a bike rack...

I have a hitch solution for your 2007 Ford Ranger, but the part # E-3S is not going to fit and would not be your best choice. I have a much better solution for you than the Curt Hitch part # E-3S. You are correct that the Curt 2" Trailer Hitch - Bumper Mount - 8-3/4" Bolt Pattern - 5,000 lbs GTW # E-3S does not include locking nuts, and as long as you torque the included bolts to the torque spec listed in the instructions you will not need to worry about the nuts coming loose.
