David, for your 2018 Ford E-450 I recommend checking out the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C47CR. This trailer hitch will fit on frames that have a width of 18" to 44", has a max weight capacity of 16,000 lbs, and a max tongue weight capacity of 1,600 lbs.
