Question:

Trying to pick between this Curr hitch and the Dura Tite DT82QR. I have a 2024 Lexus NX 450h+. Which is going to result in a lower ground clearance? Thanks

Hey Corey,

I finally got my hands on both the Curt # C33NR and Draw-Tite # DT82QR and was able to measure from the mounting holes down to the bottom of the receiver tube to see which had more ground clearance. The Draw-Tite # DT82QR had a 12.5" measurement and the Curt # C33NR had a 9.5" measurement so the Curt would give you the better ground clearance.

If you're planning on towing a trailer or want to add lights to a bike rack or cargo carrier then you'll also want to pick up the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 to transfer your light signals.

Kevin, thanks *so* much for doing the measuring! The difference between the options is material and will likely drive my final decision!
