Question:
I have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I added this kit to the jeep but cant seem to get the lights to function when hooked up to the tow vehicle. Is there something Im doing wrong? My regular lights work on the Jeep but cant seem to get the other from the tow vehicle

Hey Jeremy,
I would start by testing the 4-pole connector on the motorhome to see if the signals are coming through to even reach the towed vehicle. If they are use a tester # PTW2993 to poke into the wire harness # HM59VR before the converter box to see if the signals are still coming through. Next, you'll test after the converter box to see if it's functioning properly. If not, then the harness needs to be replaced. Let me know what you find and we can keep troubleshooting if needed.

So I was testing the lights with the harness plugged into camper but I didn’t have the jeep in the neutral tow mode. Once I put the jeep in tow mode to be ready to get flat towed they all started to work. Must have something on the computer of the jeep to activate the lights
