Amy, it would depend on the bikes. If each of your e-bikes weighed less than 37.5 lbs, and didn't have any fat tires, then yes you could use the Thule Apex Swing XT Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # TH9027XT. But if you're just hauling two bikes, I wouldn't recommend a 4 bike rack. I'd recommend using a two bike rack like # HLY84FR which is designed to carry two e-bikes.

Thanks for the response. My issue is I need a swing away. We have a Ram Promaster and need to access the rear doors. There is only 4-5 inches clearance between the top of the hitch and bottom of the door. I wish someone made a swing away e-bike rack. It gets expensive when you need to buy a rack and swing away separately. Let me know if you have recommendations/suggestons.

@Amy How heavy are your bikes, and do they have fat tires?

@BryceD they are probably close to 50 lbs with the battery. No fat tires. They do have fenders though which limits some of the racks.

@Amy Hey Amy, so I'd actually recommend going with the RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Away Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # RKY37ZR instead. This rack has a swing away base like the Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT, is compatible with fenders (as long as they aren't covering the entire tire), has a 60 lb per bike capacity, and will work with 3" wide tires.
