Am looking for a 2 inch hi low adapter for my 2023 Ford Transit Camper Van. We already purchased a Thule Apex XT Swing rack from Thule 4 bike. So that is already in hand. But the Thule swing component rubs against the right hand rear door. I need an adapter I think that will give me enough clearance to swing the rack open and not rub the bottom side of the door. But I dont want to have it too low that it might hit the ground on bumpy terrain.

Hi Charles! I recommend the Yakima FlipFlop High-Low Adapter # Y64MX for your setup. You can install this in the drop position to lower your Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT by 2-1/8". This should give the passenger-side rear door enough room to clear the swing-away portion of the rack without dropping it so far that you unnecessarily sacrifice ground clearance.
The FlipFlop is designed for bike racks and other hitch-mounted accessories and also extends the rack 9" farther away from the vehicle for additional clearance.

Thanks Robin. Just put the order in. Next trip from the Philadelphia area is across the PA Turnpike, across into Ohio, then Indiana, and into Illinois. Then up to Wisconsin. Bikes in tow. Thanks for your help!
