Replacement Option For 5th Wheel Landing Gear With 15-1/2" Between Weld Stops

Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 08/26/2024

Question:

I have a 5th wheel toy hauler that the gears stripped on one of my front jack legs. I need a replacement set of jack legs. I cannot find a model on them. The motor that runs the jacks is 1-065-041012-01 with 7140 RMP. The measurement between the weld stops is 15.5. Can you tell me the correct replacement jack legs please. James

Hi James,

The 15-1/2" distance between weld stops is standard, so you can use whichever legs give you the right amount of height and lift. For a set that has a retracted height of 32-3/4" and extended height of 53-1/4" with 36-1/2" of total lift use the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000.

These have an 8,000 lb capacity and will work with your motor so it's very likely they'll be your best bet. Should you happen to need something with a different travel height I've added a link below to our selection of landing gear for you.

Hey James, how did the new landing gear set work out on your 5th wheel toy hauler? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to match their jack legs and motor setup.
