Question:

I have a 2021 carbon 338 fifth wheel. The leafs are already on top of the axle. I would like to lift it another 2” or so. What is the best way to do that? Thanks

Hey Jimmy! Since your axles are already below your leaf springs, I recommend the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit item # RR55QX. These brackets are going to attach to the bottom of your leaf spring hangers and extend the connection point for your leaf springs down 2-1/4" which will provide an equivalent lift.

The Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit item # RR55QX is listed as being for triple axle trailers but it is the correct one for a 2-1/4" lift. The tandem axle kit does not include the additional brackets you'll need so it would only provide a 1-1/4" lift.

Please note that this lift kit does not work with MORryde CRE3000 equalizers. The angled grove at the top of the equalizers is too wide to fit inside the center mounting bracket of the Correct Track item # RR55QX.

What kind of equalizers do you have on your Carbon 338 5th wheel trailer?

I unfortunately have the MORryde CRE-300s and was hoping to keep them. I was hoping for effectively just lift blocks for under the leafs and longer U bolts the affect the ride height

@JimmyK Oh man! Yeah, I wouldn't want to get rid of those either. We've had people modify the brackets to get them to fit but I don't recommend going that route. Unfortunately, the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit item # RR55QX is the only option I have. We don't do the lifting blocks.
