Can Hitch Adapter be Used With Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier

Hi. Can I use a hitch riser behind this tire carrier so my flat tow is at correct height?

Hey Mark,
I checked with Roadmaster and a hitch riser cannot be used with the Roadmaster Hitch Spare Tire Mount with 2" Receiver Opening # RM-195225. There isn't any type of adapter that can be used with this spare tire carrier.

Would the answer be the same if the hitch riser was placed in the motorhome receiver first, followed by tire carrier? Sorry, but just want to be sure.
