Question:
I drive an LTV 2022 URL with a Roadmaster spare tire hitch mounted with 8” extension, I am trying to figure out if I can also have an e bike rack mounted as well. Is it possible with a combination of your products? Or do I have to choose one or the other?

The Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier part # RM-195225 will work great with a bike rack but you'll need to keep a few things in mind with weight being the biggest. The carrier alone reduces hitch capacity by 33% or 1/3. You must also subtract the weight of the carrier (75 lbs) and mounted wheel/tire (? lbs). This will then give you your capacity for the bike rack and bike. The other thing that must be taken into consideration is bike rack compatibility with the motorhome as most bike racks, especially e-bike capable racks, cannot be used on a motorhome. The Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # S94FR is a good option for this as it can be used on a motorhome, weighs 60 lbs, and has a 70 lb per bike weight capacity. I have also attached a quick formula for you below.
Trailer Hitch Weight Capacity - 33% or 1/3 Trailer Hitch Weight Capacity - Carrier Weight 75 lbs - Mounted Wheel/Tire Weight ? lbs - Bike Rack Weight 60 lbs - Bike Weight ? Lbs = Yes if over 0 or No if under 0

Hi Connor, so let me make sure i have this straight, this is the total capacity for my 2023 airstream atlas: Hitch Weight Capacity for the 2023 Airstream Atlas The hitch weight capacity for the 2023 Airstream Atlas is 4,000 lbs. This figure represents the maximum weight that can be applied downward on the hitch receiver by a trailer or other towed load. Does that mean that when i connect your spare tire I reduce this from 4000 to 1320? Once i have that settled, here is what i am trying to do: Electric bikes 124lbs Thule Bike Carrier 52lbs wheel 16lbs tire 38lbs spare tire carrier 75lbs Will this work? thanks
