Question:

I have a 2022 Ram Promaster van. The dimension from the inside of the rear hitch to the bottom of the rear doors is 5 inches. I understand that I need 7 1/2 inches to clear the rear doors for opening. Is there another option for me other than the RM-195125? Thank you.

The Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 is going to likely be your best option. The only other option would be a Carrier # e98ZR you would have to remove to open the door. I have added an image with the length of the carrier below as you may still be able to open your doors. You will want to measure your doors as they open to determine if the door will still be able to open without hitting the carrier.
