Which TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs For 2016 Ford F-250 Long Bed w/ Factory Hitch & no Running Boards

Hi, Im a little confused on which camper tie down I need for my 2016 f250 8foot bed with no sidestep and factory hitch. You show 2 options that look exactly the same but has a big price difference. Also, it states front and rear but show only two tiedowns and not 4. Does that mean that I need to buy two sets for front and back?

Hey Tim,

Good questions, and camper tie-downs are always a touch confusing so I can explain the difference for you between the two TorkLift camper tie-downs for your 2016 Ford F-250 long bed with factory hitch and no running boards.

The difference between the two is that one of the tie-downs has aluminum arms and stainless steel brackets while the other is powder-coated steel for both. The benefit being the aluminum/stainless steel tie-downs won't rust, though both options have lifetime warranties, some folks just like knowing the tie-downs will remain rust-free. Here's the part numbers for each:

- Aluminum/Stainless Steel: TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL29ZV

- Powder-Coated Steel: TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL57FV

In regards to what comes with these, it is both the front and rear tie-downs so you do not need to purchase any other tie-downs. The only other thing you'd need if you don't have them are turnbuckles, the TorkLift Locking FastGun - Gray # TLS9522-2-LK or Black # TLS9529-2-LK.

Yes, the Happijac Qwik-Load turnbuckles are very similar to the Torklift Turnbuckles like the #TLS9529-2-LK so they would work fine.

You will want the TorkLift Tie-Downs #TL57FV for your 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty long bed. This contains both the front and rear mounts. The TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles #TLS9529-2-LK will then secure your slide in truck camper.
