Replacement Valterra RV Sewer Termination Adapter
Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/07/2024 >
Question:
I need to replace the Termination Adapter 3 Slip Hub on my trailer. 2 of the tabs were broken off as a result of a tire blow out. The problem is if I cut off the old one it only leaves me with about 3/8 to glue the new one on and I dont feel this is adequate. Any ideas on how I should proceed? Thank you. Paul

You are correct that 3/8" won't be enough. If you can't use a heat gun to loosen your broken termination adapter like item # T1029-2 off then you'll need to replace what's behind it.

Hey Paul, were you able to get the broken termination adapter off your trailer using a heat gun, or did you end up replacing the section behind it? Knowing what worked could help others facing the same repair.
