Valterra sanitation tee in use

This RV sanitation tee with double rotating valves is a part of your motor home's waste management system. The T-configuration combines the flow of wastewater from your gray-water tank and your black-water tank. And the valves can be rotated as desired during setup to make it easier to reach them. Connect your sewer hose to the 3" lug fitting on the sanitation tee and open the valves to drain your holding tanks.

Flawlessly. Ended up being the right choice.

exactly as advertised. both inlets rotate without any modification at all. The construction is solid and the dimensions are accurate. highly adjustable, heating the black tank outlet a bit with a heat gun made this unit slide on like butter. I used two CV joint boot Oetiker clamps of the appropriate size in the black tank inlet, instead of c-clamps.

Cannot believe how easy this was - arrived in two days as promised and exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, when moving the trailer to install the fitting, we caught the black water tank on a covered rock. I know - we are very tough on exposed plumbing. Doesn't look like etrailer has those kinds of parts - too bad.

After damaging our original, this was an exact replacement and easy enough to install using the appropriate glues. The outlet cap is much tighter that the original and really requires a universal oil filter wrench to remove and install.

Hey, I have a hard sided pop up that had a separate black and grey outlet. Trouble was there’s only one inlet for was and it was a struggle to empty the grey line. This tee fixed the problem.

    Hey Dirk, I'd love to explain the difference, a spigot is essentially just the male fitting and hub is the female fitting. The spigot will slide into a hub fitting and can be glued in place with some abs cement # A05-0303. The # T18 has a 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Hub The # T18A has a 3" Spigot and 1-1/2" Hub The # T18C has a 3" Hub and 1-1/2" Spigot Each of these have a 90 degree angle for the gray tank connection to black tank connection so it's important to make sure this design lines...

  • Rubber Grommet Connector Between Black Water Tanks and Waste Valve.
    This is an unexpected configutation with the valve connected directly to the black tank. Nevertheless, it seems that a Valtera # F02-2106 Replacement Rubber Grommet would fix you right up. I think I would spring for some new Valterra # H03-0018 hose clamps. If you find that you have 3-1/2" connections (rather than 3") then the Valterra # F02-2103 coupler will be needed. Otherwise you will be ready for the Valterra # T18A waste valve.

    The Double RV Waste Valves # T18A has a 1-1/2" spigot so you'd have to also pick up a coupling # 344633001 in order to attach it to the existing pipe. Instead I recommend the Double RV Waste Valves # T18, which comes with hub fittings so you can easily slide the existing pipes into the hubs and won't need another adapter fitting.     Based on the picture you sent in you'd need a sewer tee and not a wye since the angle of the two pipes is 90 degrees relative to each other in your picture.     So based on the picture you submitted and the dimensions you listed it looks like you need a dump valve that will fit into the 3-1/2 inch pipe (3 inch spigot) and then need a 1-1/2 inch pipe ot fit over your other valve (1-1/2 inch hub). The valve setup that covers that is the part # T18A as it has a 3 inch spigot and a 1-1/2 inch hub.
