Hi Joseph; the sway control won't be impacted using overrated bars like the # BXW4007. You're really not over by too much since they have a tongue weight range. In this case it is 750-1,000 lbs. What you may experience is a rigid or even bouncy ride. If you take your trailer out and it is uncomfortable and noticeable I would swap them out for appropriately weighted bars. If you have the SwayPro you can use the # BXW4006 (rated for 550-750 lbs TW) or for the TrackPro # BLU25FR (600-800 lbs TW).

Hey Joseph, how did things go after trying the heavier spring bars on your Blue Ox Pro setup? Did you notice any change in the sway or ride comfort at highway speeds? Your update could make it easier for others working through the same issue.

Did not work. Bought a Equal-I-Zer hitch and works.
