i have a 2003 dodge dakota that pulls and camper on a daily bases with quite a bit of tongue weight. what would you recommend for rear suspension to help with the rear sagging?

I recommend using the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution # BXW1000 on your 2003 Dodge Dakota. This kit will also give you sway control that will make the drive safer in wind and when driving on the highway. A 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 19286 is required for installation. The brackets can be easily moved from one vehicle to the other with the clamp on trailer brackets. The bars are rated for a tongue weight of 750-1000lbs and trailer weight of up to 10,000lbs.

You can also utilize Replacement Spring Bars # BXW4006 for tongue weights of 550-750lbs. There are several different replacement bars available to correlate to the correct tongue weights that you will come across and all these bars can be used with the same system and no other extra parts.

A weight distribution will allow you to get a better ride height when pulling a variety of trailers. And with the added benefit of a sway control system it will be a lot safer.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDDR00 will provide extra stability and reduce the amount of sag on your Dakota when towing or hauling heavy loads in the bed. This system will provide up to 3,000lbs of capacity(this will not increase the weight capacities given by Dodge).
