I have a 2017 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk. What kit do I need so that the jeeps taillights operate with the RV?

Hey Tom, thanks for reaching out!

I recommend using the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56208 for your 2017 Jeep Cherokee because it tees in behind the tail lights so you don't have to splice any wiring in.

What about a battery tender for my jeep to keep it charged when towing?

@TomP In that case I recommend picking up the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 and using the 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7 to get the 12V power from your motorhome to the Jeep. You'll connect the charge line kit from the center pin on the 6-Way socket to your battery. If your motorhome doesn't have a 12V power pin at the 7-Way then you can also get the Motorhome Charge Line Kit # RM-156-75 to add it.
