Can I Buy A B&W Companion Slider Base For A New Truck And Re-Use An Old Companion Head Unit?

Question:
I have a BandW companion fifth wheel hitch currently. We are purchasing a newer Ford truck with the factory puck system. Would it be possible to just purchase a BandW slider base and use my current companion hitch head assembly use the same head assembly on either base? Thanks for the help

Hello Dan; yes, you can purchase a new slider base for your Ford truck, and re-use the head unit from your old companion hitch. All of the companion hitches use the same head unit, so they are interchangeable.
The correct companion slider base for the Ford puck system is part # BWRVB3370. This will work in the ford puck system 2011 - current.
