what is the difference between the Yakima glass hatch hooks - lower hooks and Y02612? They look exactly the same on the picture. Thanks.

There is no difference whatsoever between the Replacement Glass Hatch Hooks # Y8890155 and Glass Hatch Hook Adapter for Yakima Trunk Mounted Bike Carrier # Y02612.

Why Yakima has two of the same thing with different part numbers is not something I can answer. If you need these, just go with the less expensive one.

Hey Prince, did you end up going with the less expensive Yakima glass hatch hooks? Knowing how they worked out could help others trying to choose between the two versions.

@LazerS yup, I ended up getting the less expensive glass hatch hook and it looks exactly like the original hooks as well as the more expensive one. They work well in my mini cooper.
