Recommended Trunk Mount Bike Rack for 2019 Hyundai Ioniq

Question:

I would prefer a hitch bike rack but apparently a hitch will not fit my car. I am interested in a trunk bike rack but do not know if it will fit my trunk because it is glass and have heard is not compatible. I saw on the Etrailer website replies have mentioned that the Yakima FullBack Bike Rack part # Y02634 fits. Will any trunk bike rack fit?

I checked with Yakima and confirmed the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack part # Y02634 is a fit for a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq. This is an excellent option with anti-sway cradles to keep the bikes from rocking back and forth, rubber coated feet to protect the vehicle finish, and a lightweight foldedable design for easy storage. I have also attached for you below the fitting instructions from Yakima for this vehicle.

"Outer/lower support frame rests on the lower portion of the license plate or well. When bikes are loaded, re-tension straps to ensure base pads only make contact with the vertical surface of the well or plate."
