Question:
Looking at options for a landing gear motor for a fifth wheel. The current one is lippert 141893 are there any other comparable motors. Also I’d need a switch for it too

Hey Trey,
There are a couple other comparable motors to the 141893, but they all have a lower RPM rating so they wouldn't really be an upgrade. If your motor is worn out I would just replace it with the same one # LC141893 to ensure compatibility. Lippert offers a fused switch # LC145236 specifically for their landing gear motors.
The fused red wire would run to your trailer battery and the black wire with it will connect to chassis ground. The other red and black wires would run to the motor.

Hey Trey, how did things go with the Lippert motor and fused switch for your fifth wheel’s landing gear? Did the wiring connections work out as expected? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
