Hey Eliseo, thanks for reaching out!

Usually when 5th wheel landing gear is making a clicking noise that means either the legs are having issues or the gearbox is having issues and they need to be replaced. Does the clicking noise sounds like it's coming more from the legs or the gearbox?

Another possibility is that the tongue/pin weight is too much for the landing gear (it should be 20% of the loaded trailer) so that's something else to check before jumping into replacing parts.

Sounds like the gearbox. The clicking noise increases in frequency the higher that I have to raise the rv. (It doesn't make the noise wen lowering.) Sometimes it seems that it is not powerful enough to lift the rv. I am using the Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel hitch, so I have to raise the rv more than the standard 5th wheel hitch. Thanks for replying. erg

@Eliseo That could definitely be the gearbox needing replacement then. The Aluminum Gearbox # LG-179015 is a common replacement, and if you check out my other answer page I'm linking to this comment, there is a dimensional photo of the motor that pairs with this gearbox so you can make sure this will work with your system. It might also be helpful to check your battery bank level to make sure there is more than enough power for the landing gear set to raise your RV.
