Roof Rack For A 2020 Palomino SS550 Pop Up Truck Camper

Question:
I have a 2020 Palomino SS550 and am looking for a roof rack for it. What do most folks use? Id rather not drill into the roof membrane if possible, but would if thats my only option.

Thanks for reaching out, Adam. We do have a roof rack option that can be used on your 2020 Palomino SS550. There are no custom-fit options though, so drilling into the roof will be required. I recommend the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020. This comes with adjustable length heavy-duty crossbars that can hold up to 200 lbs. You will need a 1/8" drill bit for the roof, and some silicone sealant or butyl tape to seal up the roof. As with any roof rack, make sure you observe the maximum load capacity for the roof or your camper.

Hey Adam, how did things go with the SportRack roof rack on your Palomino SS550? Were you able to get it mounted and sealed up the way you wanted? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
