Recommended 5th Wheel To Gooseneck Hitch Adapter When Towing With a Recessed Flat Bed

I want to purchase a 5th wheel to goose neck adapter, but I have a flat bed not a conventional bed. Which adapter do you recommend? I was really wanting the purchase the Reese but dont think it will fit my recessed ball.

With a recessed gooseneck on a flatbed I prefer to use the Demco Recon # DM8550046 which will fit recessed gooseneck balls as long as they are 13/16" or less to the top of the flat bed surface. Options like the Reese Goosebox # RP85FR could have issues depending on the flatbed recess area and hills you may drive on. I do see you were also looking at the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 which is a great option as well but do understand most RV manufacturers will void their warranty if they see this being used and if you tow multiple trailers you would have to switch it around when needed or buy multiple adapters.
