Can Shackle Straps Be Used On Both Sides Of The Leaf Springs

Question:

My dual axle boat trailer (used) has the leafs directly bolted to the center equalizer and the shackles bolted on the far ends to the leaf hangers. Is this okay? Could you run shackles at the equalizer and the perches simultaneously?

Hey Colt,

You would typically only have shackle straps on one side to allow for the suspension to travel as you roll over bumps in the road. If you'd like to send in some pictures of your setup I can take a look and see if you need to change anything up.
