I have both metal and synthetic rope with my wenches. Can you use this snatch block with both metal cable and synthetic rope?

Since you have both metal and synthetic ropes I recommend the Bulldog Winch Snatch Block # BDW20049 as it uses a metal wheel versus the polymer wheel the # BDW48SV comes with. This polymer wheel is more likely to be damaged by the metal wires in the rope.
