Replacement Arm for a Thule T2 Pro Bike Rack

Updated 10/15/2025 | Published 06/24/2024

Question:

I was rear-ended at a very low speed and the Thule Pro T2 XTR 9035 was slightly damaged. On the spar furthest from the vehicle, the arm that moves with the hook to hold in the front tire of the bike was bent inwards towards the vehicle. We took it apart and found that the arm itself has a very small bend inward and the part that holds it onto the spar was bent more significantly. Is there any way to just replace the part and arm? Or do I have to purchase the complete spar? See pictures

Thanks for the pictures! Sorry to hear about your accident. The only way to replace the arm on the Thule Pro T2 XTR item # TH23JV is with the Replacement Spar Tube Assembly item # 7524703002.

Hey Jerred, I'm in a similar situation however I have a someone selling their full broken XTR assembly for parts and both arms are still fully functioning (not entire Spar). Is it possible to remove just the arms from the Spar assemblies and install them on my current XTR rack (since my arms are broken)? Based on the photos provided above it seems the arms can be swapped out just by loosening a couple bolts and installing the one's off the rack I'd be purchasing... Please let me know (sorry if this is confusing) Thanks, Brandon

@BranodnS I am not sure if you can just swap out that arm part because it's not available for resale without the entire Spar Tube. You may want to reach out to Thule.
